The video is a tutorial on how to create a library of cool and useful prompts using Snap Prompts. It shows how to match personal preferences across multiple genres using a prompt created by the user. The prompt creates a list of similar titles to the original keyword based on the input of a professional title and favorite example. The video demonstrates how to use the prompt to find titles that match criteria effectively and efficiently. Three main topics discussed in the video are creating a prompt library, matching personal preferences, and finding similar titles to a favorite example.
hi guys and welcome to the voice of AI
my name is Chris Plante and today in our
make your own prom series I'm going to
show you again how to upload another
prompt onto snap proms I want to help
you create a library of cool and useful
prompts that you can use anytime so
let's dive in right now
okay then so today let's kick off the
goal as usual is that we're building a
prompt library for you learning the way
that prompter Engineers create those
problems and the mission today is to
find a match for our keyword to create a
summary and to compare the summary and
rating of our original keyword hi guys
and welcome to chat GPT I'm going to
create a new prompt again today so first
of all I'm going to enable my snap
prompts and don't forget if you want to
enable snack prompts and you want to
know how to put the Chrome plugin in
just go up to the top right hand corner
and click right now and watch that video
okay so what we're going to do is we're
going to go over here straight away and
create a new prompt and of course I've
already set it up and I'm going to show
you what that is now so it's going to be
to match
your personal preferences across
multiple genres I'm making it very
generic today so you're going to be able
to find your favorite film your favorite
book and all your favorite music or
anything really based on something you
already like so let's add in our
description now which I've already
written okay I'm going to pop this in
here
um here we go
um so this prompt is designed for
individuals who are searching for ideas
related to their preference of a topic
in a specific genre right so if we come
down here it will help us a little bit
the individual inputs the key
professional title and then the example
of their favorite so for instance your
favorite film the purpose of this prompt
is to help individuals find similar
items that are relevant to the
preference to align with their personal
interests so really the key part is by
using this prompt users can find titles
that match their criteria more
effectively and efficiently than they
would through manual searching Okay so
we've got our Topics in so now let's
start uh down here so let's paste it in
our template here okay now it always
comes in as red first of all I'm just
going to take away some of the spaces we
want to add our first hashtag okay so
what we're going to do is we're going to
I've just put this in here for now let's
add the hashtag sign
okay and we get our tags up here you can
see that so I'm going to put in the tag
now add genre EG film critic
best-selling author music journalist now
I can delete this part here so we've
done our first tag now this tag will
come up on the top right and it will
allow you to add what you'd like to do
here so now based on the following and I
want to put in a favorite example topic
so whatever your favorite example topic
is so let's put now the hashtag in here
again and then copy
this and you can see down at the bottom
here we can put the hashtag in
and all of my Hashtags with favorite
example topic suddenly will be executed
here because they're all the same so
first of all you are professional we're
going to add the genre and it gives you
just a this is a reference just to help
you based on the following your favorite
example okay let's take out this
generate me a list of so hashtag number
let's just put it into the tag here
and you see it creates it here hashtag
number so that's coming into the command
and I just take out the other one so
generate me a list of you give a number
of examples similar to existing titles
that's really important for this prompt
because it's other existing titles based
on the favorite example topic which
we're going to put in and I'll show you
how this all works in a second because
it might be a bit confusing now keep the
result very similar to the genre of my
favorite example topic then let's
itemize the tasks task One summary of
the favorite example topic including
perhaps year of release if it's a book
if it's a film if it's music and I've
put if relevant and I've put that in
inverted commas in case it's not
relevant then task two give me a list
and summary output of the results okay
and then task three based on the genre
and
the top reviews from that genre give me
a one to star rating as a result
compared with the initial favorite
example topic okay so it might sound a
bit complicated but you'll see exactly
what I'm doing and I had to build and
test this prompt as I went along but
you're simply just going to be able to
use it so here we go we've got all of
the information in here let's just check
got our title match your personal
preferences across multiple genres
uh we got our information in here okay
and I'm good to go there so I'm going to
publish that prompt now and then we can
test it and see exactly how it works
okay right now it's going to give me a
share or download which is nice I always
pick this second one here and then I
upload my image which I'll show you
right now
okay we've uploaded the image there we
go that's nice and I always download
that as well because I like to have that
to share later Let's test the prompt
okay so what we're going to do here is
we've got add the genre so let's imagine
okay I'm going to choose my favorite
film so what I'll put in here is I'm
going to use the film critic
as a base paste in a favorite film here
Edge of Tomorrow that's a Tom Cruise
film and Emily Blunt I'm gonna have five
examples so I'm going to Simply send
that now without changing any tone or
style I'm going to send that straight to
chat GPT you see that comes in at the
bottom here and I simply pledge return
and you can see my prompt is in there
now you are professional film critic
based on the following Edge of Tomorrow
create me a list of examples similar to
the film Edge of Tomorrow
um task of the summary okay so let's see
what our results are now
so basically what we should get in task
one is the summary of the film that we
actually watched in the first place now
this could be music this could be book
could even be some sort of sports or
anything you just is your imagination
it's up to you to try and think of it so
here we go we've got the edge of
tomorrow tells me about the film then
it's giving me now in task two a list of
similar films so if I liked Edge of
Tomorrow I probably will like source
code Looper The Matrix so I've actually
seen a lot of these films so I know it's
quite correct and task 3 has only come
up as film now now that's interesting so
I'm going to try that prompt again to
see if it works if you do a complete
refresh sometimes the prompt will then
generate properly so let's refresh it
completely so you see now in my voice of
AI prompts I have match your personal
preferences here so I'm just going to
click on that one you can come and use
that as well if you want and what we'll
do let's quickly edit
the number as well because we said we
would just edit this and let's call that
um number of examples let's take that
complete one there so I'm going to just
edit that let's delete the hashtag put
in a new hashtag
and then in my tags I can put a number
of examples return okay and then I can
take out my text here so there we go
it's a number of examples now will come
up on the right hand side so let's
update that prompt okay so let's give
another example now I just had a look at
the top selling books in the US
and in Publishers Weekly we've got
number one it's called it starts with us
so let's put in here now best-selling
author as our
start
favorite example topic is okay let's
imagine if I've read this book
it starts with us by Colleen Hoover
okay and I want to have five examples
so let's have a look then so we'll send
that to track GPT
we've got one mistake in there it starts
with us
Center chat GPT that's better okay
obviously you've got to put the right
type in there and then let's send off
that message
very good
so first of all it's going to summarize
the book that we've already read or is
our favorite book or even we want to
have some similar titles to that book we
may not have even read the first book so
here we go we've got a list of five
similar titles with the summary and also
the year is in there too you can see
that which is great
just what we've asked for and then let's
have a look that's perfect and then task
three it's going to give us a comparison
with the star rating now each of those
books now has got its star rating as
well
okay and the and the star ratings are
subjective and based on those popular
reviews of the novels perfect so there
you go that's how to use it happy
prompting okay in the summary today to
set up a time saving and accurate prompt
just follow these three steps number one
The Prompt build directive in this
instance we use you are a professional
film critic so always give the first
criteria number two find wider uses so
the prompt could be more useful and then
point three include features for
instance like number of results or scale
of one to five stars and this makes the
problems more interesting and it makes
it more efficient so don't forget
embrace the power of your prompt
engineering and transform your research
today okay so that's all for today
