How much does Zendesk cost in 2026?

Zendesk costs from $19 per agent per month on Support Team to $115 on Suite Professional when paid yearly, or $25 to $149 when paid monthly. Suite Enterprise has no public price, and Zendesk asks you to talk to sales.

Every person who answers tickets needs a seat, so the total grows with your team. Paying monthly instead of yearly adds $6 per agent on Support Team, $14 on Suite Team and $34 on Suite Professional, which is roughly 25% to 32% more.

What does each Zendesk plan include?

Of the Zendesk plans, Support Team covers email ticketing. Suite Team adds AI agents, a knowledge base, and messaging and live chat, and Suite Professional adds Admin Copilot, an app builder and skills-based routing. Suite Enterprise is quoted individually.

These are the first features Zendesk lists for each plan:

  • Support Team: email and ticketing system, ticket routing, prebuilt analytics dashboards, pre-written responses, customer context, automations and triggers.
  • Suite Team: everything in Support Team, plus AI agents, a knowledge base, Action Builder, omnichannel routing, and messaging and live chat.
  • Suite Professional: everything in Suite Team, plus Admin Copilot, App Builder, writing tools, Quick Reports and skills-based routing.
  • Suite Enterprise + Copilot: price on request.

The page lists messaging and live chat under Suite Team, so a team that wants live chat should budget from $55 per agent, not $19.

How much do Zendesk add-ons cost?

Zendesk’s pricing page lists three add-ons: Copilot at $50 per agent per month, the Workforce Engagement Bundle at $50 and Contact Center at $83, all paid yearly.

Add-ons are priced per agent, so they grow with team size. Adding Copilot for 10 agents adds $500 a month. Zendesk’s pricing page says Copilot can be added to Professional and higher plan levels, so confirm in your quote which plans the other add-ons can be attached to.

How does Zendesk charge for AI agents?

Zendesk AI pricing is based on automated resolutions: a customer issue the AI resolves without human help. Plans include 5 or 10 per agent each month. Extra ones cost $1.50 each on a committed pack or $2.00 pay-as-you-go.

Zendesk’s help center calls an automated resolution “the unit of measurement used for calculating and billing your account for AI agent usage” and says you pay only for requests the AI agent resolved without escalation to a human. That article is labeled as covering the platform before resolution tiers, so rely on the pricing page for current prices.

For example, a 10-agent team on Suite Team gets 50 included resolutions a month. If the AI resolves 200 conversations, the 150 extra cost $225 on a committed pack or $300 pay-as-you-go.

Because you pay per outcome, the AI part of your bill moves with ticket volume. Estimate it from your last three months of tickets before you commit.

What extra costs should you plan for?

Plan for four costs beyond the seat price: monthly billing premiums, per-agent add-ons, AI resolutions above the allowance, and a quote-only Enterprise plan.

  1. Monthly billing. Paying monthly costs 25% to 32% more per seat than paying yearly.
  2. Add-ons. Copilot and the Workforce Engagement Bundle cost $50 per agent each month. Contact Center costs $83.
  3. AI above the allowance. $1.50 per resolution on a committed pack, $2.00 pay-as-you-go.
  4. Enterprise. No public price, so budget time for a sales conversation.

The part of the pricing page we checked lists no taxes or onboarding fees. Ask for a written quote that shows every line, and compare it with this list.

What would a 10-agent team actually pay?

On yearly billing, 10 agents would pay $190 a month on Support Team, $550 on Suite Team and $1,150 on Suite Professional, before add-ons and AI resolutions.

Setup for 10 agentsPer monthPer year
Support Team, paid yearly$190$2,280
Suite Team, paid yearly$550$6,600
Suite Team, paid monthly$690$8,280
Suite Professional, paid yearly$1,150$13,800
Suite Professional + Copilot for all 10, paid yearly$1,650$19,800

This is an illustration: it uses list prices and assumes 10 agents, no AI overage, no taxes and no discounts. Swap in your own agent count to get your number.

How do you compare Zendesk pricing with another help desk?

Compare the same team size, billing term and AI usage on both sides, and count add-ons per agent. A seat price alone hides most of the difference. Four steps help:

  1. Fix the team size. Use your real number of agents, including part-timers who answer tickets.
  2. List the features you need. Note which plan includes each one, as with live chat on Suite Team.
  3. Estimate AI volume. Use your own ticket counts, not a vendor’s example.
  4. Ask for a written quote. It should show seats, add-ons, AI and any one-off fees.

Conclusion

The seat price is only the start of Zendesk’s bill. Add-ons, AI resolutions and monthly billing can change the total a lot. Check the current prices on Zendesk’s page, run the 10-agent example with your own numbers, and ask for everything in writing.
