- Hi, welcome back.
It's Mark, here in the lab at VoIP Supply.
And today we're talking about
Snom's D-Series Sip Desk Phone, the D735.
The D735 is gonna be a great phone for your VoIP deployment,
because it's just the sweet spot.
Middle of the range.
It's got everything you need and nothing you don't.
Let's take a closer look.
Starting off with the D735.
We have a 2.8 inch color screen.
We have eight programmable line keys.
There are 12 step identities,
and four context based soft keys.
As with other Snom and D-series phones,
we have an accept,
we have direction pad with a button in the middle.
We have a cancel,
voicemail button,
do not disturb.
We have a proximity sensor.
So when you reach your hand near the phone,
it'll actually bring you right to your line key display.
We also have a directory key,
settings,
transfer,
hold,
headset key,
speaker,
volume,
mute,
and your standard keypad.
The Snom D735 also has two gigabit ethernet ports.
So if you're piggybacking your PC off of your phone,
you will still have gigabit available to you.
If you're plugged into a gigabit port on the network side,
it is PoE powered.
Wifi is supported with a USB dongle,
as well as a USB headset,
with the USB port on the side of the phone.
Kind of an interesting feature of notice
on the D-Series Snom phones is that,
if you take this out of the box
and you do not set the password on the web interface,
it will tell you on the screen prominently,
HTTP password not set.
Reminds you to change that
so no one can log into your phone.
Really interesting feature.
I really like that.
Looking at the back of the D735,
there is a two position stand, very easy to install.
Also, this is wall mountable,
in case you don't want to use the stand,
and want this in a common area.
The ethernet ports are accessible
through the bottom of the phone.
We also have a plug for your headset
and we have the plug for the handset.
The USB port is located on the side of the phone.
It is USB 1.0.
- And there you have it,
Snom's D735, middle of the range.
Great phone, great style.
By the way, three year warranty from Snom
and VoIP Supply is an authorized distributor
for the D-series, including this D735.
I love it.
It looks great.
It's gonna look great in your environment.
Once again, Mark here, in the lab,
at VoIP Supply with the Snom D735,
quit playing VoIP with my heart.
