For those who prefer social media communication, Hilton maintains active accounts on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, where you can leave messages and get assistance from their team. However, please note that Hilton does not offer email support.
Common problems and solutions
How do I find and cancel my reservation?
Hilton Honors Members
From the app
- Click “Stays” from the bottom menu
- Swipe right to find the stay you’d like to cancel
- Scroll up to see the full menu options for that stay
- Click ‘My Stay"
- Scroll through details to “Cancel Reservation” link at bottom
- Select “Cancel Reservation” when “Are you sure?” screen pops up
- Click “OK” once you’ve received the Cancellation #

- Once signed in, go to ‘Manage your stay" and click “All upcoming stays”
- Scroll down to find the stay you’d like to cancel
- Click ‘View/Edit" link within the stay
- On the left, click link “Cancel this reservation” under “Cancellation policy”, if available
- Click “Cancel Reservation” on the pop-up
- You’ll be redirected to the confirmation screen

From your confirmation email
- Locate your confirmation email
- Scroll down to the ‘Your room information" box
- Click “Modify your reservation” link

You can receive an immediate call from customer support by clicking the “Call Me” button or the “Chat with Us” box to connect to an agent who can help.
Can I merge two accounts?
- Log in to your account on Hilton.com
- Click your name in the upper right corner
- Click “Account”
- From the top menu, click “Profile”
- Click “Combine accounts”
- Enter the information of the account you’d like to merge with yours
Make sure you’re signed in to the account you’d like to keep. The account that is merged will no longer exist on its own.
To merge your Hilton Honors accounts, you’ll need to follow these steps:
- If you have a Hilton Grand Vacations (HGV) account, contact HGV for help. If you are on a Hilton Friends & Family account, ask the team member whose account you’re on to remove you before merging.
- Team member Honors and Lifetime team member accounts, Owners accounts, and Lifetime Diamond accounts cannot be merged. Contact the Go Hilton concierge or Owners Desk for assistance.
- Pooled accounts and mutual accounts cannot be merged.
- Once you’ve confirmed that your accounts are eligible for merging, you can request a merger through the Hilton Honors website or app.
What do I have to do to receive a Hilton Honors Status Match?
Submit your program and stay proof of another competitor loyalty program. Once approved for Status Match, we will upgrade your status to Gold for 90 days.
- Stay a minimum of 7 nights within your 90 day trial period, and Hilton upgrade your status to Gold.
- Even better: if you complete an additional 5 nights (12 nights total) within your 90 day trial period, Hilton will upgrade your status to Diamond.
