How do I contact Duolingo?
The best way to contact Duolingo is to firstly go through the knowledge base on their website, which provides answers to frequently asked questions and troubleshooting guides for common issues. It offers sections like Reporting Issues, General Questions and many others.
If you are unable to find the information you need in the offered knowledge base, you can contact Duolingo’s support team directly through their support form at https://support.duolingo.com/hc/cs/requests/new or email press@duolingo.com for press inquiries or partnerships@duolingo.com if you are looking to partner with the company.
One of the other ways to contact Duolingo customer support is to use the company’s social media accounts. You can contact Duolingo customer support via their Twitter account (@duolingo). Send them a direct message with your issue or question and they will respond as soon as possible. Common problems and solutions
How can I recover my lost password?
If you forgot your password and need a new one, go to www.duolingo.com/forgot_password and enter your email address.
Duolingo will send you a link to reset your password.
If you are using the Duolingo mobile app, reset your password on the website and then use the new one on the app.
In case you don’t receive the email, check your spam folder and mark it as ‘not spam" if possible.
If you signed up with Google or Facebook, use the email associated with that account. But if you used an incorrect or fake email when you signed up, you can’t change your password.
How much does Duolingo cost?
You can learn languages on Duolingo completely free. You can use it on your computer and sync it with the free apps for your mobile device. You can even use Duolingo for Schools if you have students to track - with the same account. Also at no cost.
Duolingo has a premium subscription available to Duolingo users called Duolingo Plus. With a Duolingo Plus subscription, you will have an ad-free experience with the option to enable unlimited Hearts and review your mistakes.
I see a charge for Duolingo, but I don’t have an account/subscription.
If you see a charge for Duolingo, but you have no knowledge of an existing Duolingo account or subscription, please check for the following:
- A spouse, partner, or family member who used your payment method to purchase a subscription
- A shared Google Play or Apple ID account that made the purchase
If you do not fall into any of the above categories, please check the details of the charge. The charge may read as any of the following:
- DUOLINGO GOOGLE: the subscription charge was processed through Google Play. You can report unauthorized charges to Google Play.
- DUOLINGO iTUNES: the subscription charge was processed through iTunes/Apple. If no one else has access to your iTunes account, you can report unauthorized charges to Apple.
- DUOLINGO 1 MONTH or DUOLINGO 12 MONTH: the subscription charge was processed through the desktop web processor. Please file a report and select ‘Purchase Issue" as the type of issue. A member of the support team can assist you further.
