Notifications are a signal that means that you have been assigned a specific task, have received a message, have been tagged or other action has been taken in relation to you or is indirectly related to you.
The main purpose of notifications is to inform you that a specific change has occurred. It can refer directly to the agent and mark an incoming message or a flag in a specific thread, but it can also inform about application crashes, presentation of new functions.
You can manage LiveAgent notifications directly in the LiveAgent dashboard in the Configuration section. Depending on what the notification concerns, you can set them up accordingly. If you use LiveAgent integration with Slack, notifications can be sent directly to your Slack account.
