Legacy agent is a default agent role, which all your new agents are assigned with. It can be later changed to specific agent role. Once all your agents have been assigned roles, legacy agent role is no longer available. This role can not be manually assigned by you.

The legacy agent role is used when the agent is not assigned to any of the other roles. The powers of this agent are optimal in order to conduct customer service uninterrupted.
Legacy Agent is not a feature available in LiveAgent. Currently in LiveAgent you have agent, administrator and owner roles available.
