GetApp, an established software review and recommendation engine featured LiveAgent in its “Customer Service Category Leader” report earlier this year. LiveAgent was compared to established industry giants such as Zendesk, Freshdesk, HappyFox, Groove, Hubspot, Zoho Desk, and Intercom “based on ratings from end-users in five key areas: ease of use, value for money, functionality, customer support, and likelihood to recommend.”

Despite the tough competition, LiveAgent placed second with a score of 98/100.

After announcing the Category Leaders, GetApp was on the hunt for the best CRM software for the education and automotive industries. 

A top score in the automotive industry

To find the best CRM software for the automotive industry, GetApp considered all of the tools featured in their “Category Leader” reports for campaign management, customer service, and lead generation

LiveAgent made it to the top of the list and ranked as one of the best performing customer service CRM tools.

LiveAgent was praised for its real-time typing view feature, which lets you see what your customers are typing into the chat window before they even hit send. GetApp also noted the benefits of our built-in call center, private notes, canned responses, ticket merging, mail templates, and knowledge base builder for supporting customers.

A top score in the education industry as well

For the education industry, GetApp considered all tools mentioned in the customer service, lead generation, and social media marketing “Category Leader” reports. Just as in the automotive industry, LiveAgent made it to the top and ranked as one of the best customer service CRM tools.

GetApp noted that with LiveAgent, educational institutions can easily organize and respond to all student queries made by phone, live chat, email, and social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) from a single centralized inbox. Each software had to meet the following criteria to be placed on the best CRM shortlist:

Automotive industry

  • The CRM software had to have an average rating of at least 4.5 (out of 5)
  • It had to have 100+ unique product reviews on GetApp as of August 24, 2020
  • The software needed to have at least half of the below-mentioned features:

For campaign management: Ability to manage and post social media content and track campaign metrics.
For customer service: Ability to offer customer support through live chat and email.
For lead generation: Ability to generate leads through websites or social media.

Education industry

  • The CRM software had to have an average rating of at least 4.5 (out of 5)
  • It had to have 50+ unique product reviews on GetApp as of September 7, 2020
  • The software needed to have at least half of the below-mentioned features:

For customer service: Ability to offer support via live chat and emails.
For lead generation: Ability to generate leads from websites and social media.
For social media marketing: Ability to schedule and publish social media posts across channels.
