LiveAgent Android app

It’s been a while since we released the Android app for LiveAgent but many of you still hasn’t used it or don’t know what it can do. First, you can download the app in the Play store.

Current features (July 20th, 2015)

  • Login through HTTPS, HTTP, custom port or custom path
  • Password reset
  • Push notifications – for incoming tickets in a specific department (You can turn these On/Off)
  • Chat availability management (Turn on/off chats for specific departments)
  • Ticket filters and filtered browsing
  • Ticket browsing
  • Ticket actions (All actions from the web app are available)
  • Notifications for incoming chats
  • NEW: Chatting with multiple customers at once
  • Switching between chats
  • Chat actions (Invite, Leave, Close, Assign)
  • Logout

Please note, that a user can be logged only in one device at a time. E.g. if you’re using the web app and login through Android app as well, it will log you out from the web app.

Planned features

  • Side panel – a nice tweak that will make it easier for users to create tickets, logout or get the current app version information
