During the past 10 years, we have been working on solution that would save huge amount of resources by streamlining the communication between companies and customers into one place. This actually came from the internal need to support our other software solution, affiliate tracking software.
The amount of requests and questions from our (potential) customers accumulated over time and we were starting to feel overloaded. That’s why we have decided to develop our internal solution to save our time dealing with emails inside our inbox. That’s how LiveAgent was born.
Nowadays, we are considered as one of the leading solutions with mature product, outstanding customer service and great value for the money. We have chosen different path than most of the alternatives and we offer affordable software, especially when looking at LiveAgent features.
Even though we believe customer service hasn’t reached its full potential yet, our mission to improve relationship between individuals and businesses is shown by thousands of companies by giving us their trust.
Today we are making a small step for society, but big one for us. We want to show to all of our customers ranging from SMBs to Enterprise clients, that we are not planning to go anywhere. We are working daily on improving our solution, so our customer can grow with us.
When we have started our solution for internal purposes we called it LiveAgent, indicating personality combined with the professional approach. After opening the doors to broader audience and offering it to public, we had to choose the domain name. Since the name was already taken, we have chosen LAdesk.com combining initials of our brand and it’s main industry – help desk software.
After years in the business and growing over time, we have had a problems with brand unification among our customers. Therefore we have opened the discussions with the owner of the domain of our brand again and we have came to agreement after all.
Among changing our domain name and details that comes along a way such as email addresses, there isn’t anything that would impact our existing or future customers. All of the old links and email addresses have been redirected to the correct place (if you would find anything, which would not work, please report it to us!), so we can start the new journey from now.
